About the AI+CI Pages

Welcome to the AI+CI pages, a comprehensive repository of information and resources about Machine Intelligence - Artificial, Biological, and Computational (the "ABC") - publicly available at the Centre for Computational Intelligence, NTU, Singapore.

The AI+CI Pages started modestly in 2001 as a collection of web links for the AI course. This was soon expanded to include links to many introductory articles about AI as well as some historical notes, then information about AI in the news and applications, some online glossary and puzzles links, etc.

Subsequently, a more personal touch was added, starting with our own definition of AI and the AI FAQ's, complemented next with a well-rounded collection of texts and references, and more recently a compilation of links to online AI tutorials and demos. Quite a bit of entertainment was also provided, and our collection of AI quotes has been growing steadily, which now encompasses cognitive sciences, computing, philosophy, and the mind - from the humorous to the queer to the profound. Two more collections have been added since related to research and science as well as teaching and learning.

Latest inclusions comprise the AI and education as well as AI and creativity pages. Last but not least, in 2005 the site was upgraded to cover Computational Intelligence in addition to more classical Artificial Intelligence, and so we hope to keep these AI+CI Pages progressing - slowly but steadily - toward a general reference to Machine Intelligence and Cognitive Informatics.
